I am happy to announce that I recently started my own YouTube channel. The reason behind this decision is that I want to share my views, insights, and knowledge not only on this blog but also in video format. There are topics which are more suitable to video than written form.

The Goal

The goal of my YouTube channel is to be a place where people can learn something for their job or improve their developer skills in general. The channel will be focused on the .NET platform first and might be opened up in the future depending on feedback and personal development.

I want to produce quality content which means I will not be able to post a video every single day. I do not want to commit to a specific schedule (yet), but I want to produce at least a video every single month.

The Bigger goal

My bigger goal is to create full-length high-quality video courses in the future. My YouTube channel will be a great place to learn all the skills required to create valuable content, and it will help me develop my teaching style as well as my technical knowledge about video and audio recording and editing.

As a non-native speaker of the English language, I also hope that creating videos for my channel will improve my speaking skills in the long run.

My expectations

I hope to receive some feedback to my videos, and I hope that I can produce valuable content in good quality. I am sure that the first few videos won’t be that great, but you gotta start somehow, right?!

Because my network is very small and I do not invest any money into promoting free content I do not expect my channel to sky-rocket within a few weeks.

To be honest, I would feel thankful if I receive a few comments and I do not care that much about view time and my subscriber count. Sure, I will be happy if someone wants to follow me along on this journey.

What you can do now

Go to my channel, watch my first video and comment on it on YouTube or below this blog post if you like. I rely on feedback to improve the quality of the content, and I also would like to choose topics for future videos according to feedback.

Last but not least, I appreciate any views, likes, shares, and subscriptions to my YouTube channel.
